Departing Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) footballer Kylian Mbappe’s mother Fayza Lamari has dropped a big hint about her son’s next possible destination. Mbappe has been linked to a potential summer transfer move to Real Madrid and the FIFA World Cup winner’s mother recently shared her opinion on this. At a farewell party organised by the French footballer, Lamari hinted that her son will arrive in Madrid this summer. When asked where her son would play next season, Lamari responded, by saying, as per ESPN, “You all know it already.” Sources even told ESPN that Mbappe is expected to join Real Madrid after the Spanish side face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final next month.

Mbappe had recently conveyed that he will be leaving PSG at the end of this season. Mbappe’s contract with PSG is set to expire this summer. The youngster had organised a party on Monday to mark his farewell from PSG and his mother and agent, Fayza Lamari had attended the event.

The ESPN report states that around 250 guests had joined the party at Gigi, an Italian restaurant near Champs Elysees, located in Paris. It has been learnt that French President Emmanuel Macron and PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi were invited but they did not attend the party. PSG manager Luis Enrique is another name who did not turn up for the party.

While announcing his departure from PSG, Mbappe shared a video message on social media. Mbappe said, “I’ve always said I would speak to you when this time comes and so I wanted to announce to you all that it’s my last year at Paris Saint-Germain, I will not extend and the adventure will come to an end in a few weeks. It’s a lot of emotions, it’s hard and I never thought it would be this difficult to announce that I am leaving my country, but I think I needed this, a new challenge after seven years.”

“PSG is a club that never leaves anyone indifferent, I do not regret at any moment signing with this prestigious club. It’s a club I will keep in my memory my entire life. I won’t be a player anymore but I will continue to always watch every game. I wanted to say thank you because without you all I would never have felt half the emotions I felt. Thank you all, I hope we will finish this year with a last trophy and I believe you will remain in my heart forever,” the 25-year-old added.
