Tata Motors secures 5-star BNCAP safety ratings for Nexon, Curvv, and EV models in latest crash tests

Tata Motors did it again! Tata Motors has once again secured 5 star rating in the BNCAP (Bharat New Car Assessment Program) crash test for its Nexon, and the newly launched Curvv, and Curvv.EV. This is not the first time that the company has received a 5 star rating for adhering to the high safety standards set by the BNCAP. Earlier Tata Punch, Nexon EV, Harrier, and Punch.EV have secured 5 star rating in BNCAP crash test.

Tata Motors secured 5 star rating for its newly launched vehicle Curvv ICE and Curvv.EV. It has achieved 30.81 out of 32 points in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 44.83 out of 49 points in Child Occupant Protection (COP) for Curvv.EV.

In Adult Occupant Protection it has received 15.66 out of 16.00 points for Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier Test. While for Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test it has received 15.15 out of 16.00 points.

For Curvv it has secured 29.50 out of 32 points in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 43.66 out of 49 points in Child Occupant Protection (COP).


In Adult Occupant Protection Curvv has received 14.65 out of 16.00 points for Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier Test. While for Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test it has received 14.85 out of 16.00 points.

Tata Motors has also achieved 5 star rating for Nexon joining Nexon EV. For Nexon it has secured 29.41 out of 32 points in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 43.83 out of 49 points in Child Occupant Protection (COP).

In Adult Occupant Protection Nexon has received 14.65 out of 16.00 points for Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier Test. While for Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test it has received 14.76 out of 16.00 points.


While for Nexon.EV it has secured 29.86 out of 32 points in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 44.95 out of 49 points in Child Occupant Protection (COP). In Adult Occupant Protection it has received 14.26 out of 16.00 points for Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier Test. While for Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test it has received 15.60 out of 16.00 points.
