F1 Driver Nico Hulkenberg to Make Audi Switch in Year 2025

Formula One Driver Nico Hulkenberg became the first signing of the Audi F1 side set to enter the lucrative sport in the upcoming season of the championships, as it was announced that the 36-year-old will part ways with current side Haas at the end of the ongoing campaign.

It was also announced that the German will join Kicks Sauber in the 2025 calendar year.

Audi entered the F1 circuit with their investments in Sauber, before their complete takeover of the team, wanted to come into the fold as power unit supplier, however with the full takeover of Sauber they have further expressed their interest in getting into the cash-rich sport.

Hulkenberg stands 13th in the 20-man grid after the conclusion of the Chinese Grand Prix, with three-time reigning champion Max Verstappen tops the list with a massive 110 points thanks to his 4 race wins this season.

The Dutchman has been the star for Red Bull Racing, who continue to dominate the grid with teammate Sergio Perez stood second in the list with 85 points to his name, despite no race wins yet this season.

The RBR 1-2 is followed by a back-to-back Ferrari placement as Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, come in third and fourth on the list respectively with 76 adn 69 points to their names respectively.

Red Bull stand head and shoulders above the rest of the manufacturers in the team championships as they have notched up a massive 19 points, with closest competitors Ferrari a mile behind at 151 points, followed by McLaren with 96 points to their name while Mercedes, with 52 points this season are laced fourth.

Aston Martin stands fifth on the list with 40 points in the campaign so far.
