Sergio Ramos’ son Marco channelled his inner Madridista to wish Real Madrid and Toni Kroos the very best for the UEFA Champions League 2024 final. Hours before the final tonight between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund at the Wembley Stadium in London, Los Blancos’ legendary defender Ramos shared an Instagram story tagging his former club and Kroos. In the video, Ramos can be asking his son, “What do you want to say to Toni [Kroos]?”. Donning Germany’s national kit, little Marco said, “Good Luck for the Champions League tomorrow.”

The clip was later shared by ESPN on Instagram, attracting the attention of Real Madrid fans. In one of the comments, a fan jokingly said that Sergio Ramos’ physical appearance was quite similar to Toni Kroos.

“Once a Madridista, always a Madridista,” said a user.

A fan reminded everyone that Sergio Ramos was one of the best defenders in football history. “Ramos greatest CB of All-Time, respect,” he wrote.

“This man can’t stop loving Madrid,” wrote another

That wasn’t all that little Marco had to say to Toni Kroos. Following the good luck wish, Sergio Ramos asked his son, “What’s more? You were sad because?” The young Madridista quickly responded by saying that he was sad to see the German midfielder retire from the game. “And that I’m sad because you’re retiring”, Marco said.

Ramos further revealed that Kroos was actually one of his son’s favourite players in the sport. He said, “Well he is your favourite player. One of them, isn’t it? One of them.” Chomping on his chocolate ice cream bar, the young boy nodded in agreement. Ramos then concluded the video by saying, “Toni, good luck, my bro for tomorrow, let’s go!”

One of Real Madrid’s greatest-ever captains, Sergio Ramos was at the centre of the club’s dominance in the last decade. Known for his physical and aerial abilities, Ramos often showed up for the Los Blancos in crucial moments. The star Spanish centre-back made 671 appearances for Madrid and scored 101 goals, a figure astonishingly high for a defender. Ramos even won the Champions League five times with the Spanish giants.
