A well-trained choreographer, she is known for her proficiency in various dance styles. Her entertaining dance videos on YouTube have amassed a massive fan base and millions of views. Dance enthusiasts admire Dhanashree for her distinctive choreography, often featuring popular Bollywood music. She honed her skills at Shiamak Davar’s dance academy, further enhancing her expertise in the field.

In a candid chat, she tells us about multi-tasking and her future projects.

  1. How does she manage her personal life and daily routine, including her lifestyle and eating habits, while navigating the demands of being the wife of a professional cricketer?

Balancing everything can be quite demanding, given my strong commitment to being disciplined. I ensure certain aspects of my life remain consistent, such as my work, creative pursuits like music, dance, or acting, and of course, my daily workouts. Having said that, as a self-professed food lover, I never stop myself from eating what I love. I am obsessed with burgers, and I can have them anytime, which is why I am so excited that KFC has launched 5 new Zinger burgers. And yes, sometimes, it all gets challenging, especially when I’m on the go or supporting my husband during his frequent travels. But overall, I believe it’s all about how you choose to approach your lifestyle and manage your priorities.

  1. Can you share insights over the years, from her early beginnings to her current role, highlighting the significant milestones and challenges she encountered along the way?

Transitioning from being a dentist to pursuing careers in dancing, acting, and music performance has been challenging, as these are distinctly different professions. However, what unites them is the discipline I’ve cultivated. The drive to continually improve and strive for excellence is a common thread in both fields. Despite facing some lack of support from others, I’ve always approached life as the captain of my own ship. I firmly believe that self-support and resilience are key; you don’t always require validation from external sources. By being brave, resilient, and dedicated, I’ve persevered through challenges and remained focused on my goals. This journey has taught me valuable life lessons, making me more disciplined and vigilant in all aspects of life. And I am here today, working with KFC for the launch of International Burger Fest, I mean what else can I say? The journey so far has been beautiful.

  1. As the supportive partner of a professional cricketer, how does she effectively balance her own pursuits and interests with her role as a supportive spouse in the cricketing world?

It is difficult to balance this life. It all works out if you have great understanding between the two of you. Even when we met, I was always busy doing my own thing and he was always busy with his work. We’ve developed a great understanding, and we respect each other’s work lives. I don’t mind going an extra mile for him because I love supporting him and I love seeing him do well in life. It gives me pure happiness.

  1. What adjustments did she have to make during the transition from a lifestyle-oriented realm to the cricket world, and how did this shift impact and shape her life?

I believe as an independent woman, it’s crucial to surround yourself with people who support your decisions and respect your choices. I think it’s not just about being a cricketer’s wife; it applies to any marriage. You must uphold your lifestyle and your values, while respecting your partner’s values. Fortunately, we live in a generation where people recognize the importance of supporting, loving, and understanding each other, and I am one of the lucky ones because of how supportive my partner is.
