From Cricket Field To Business Ventures, Inside MS Dhoni's Multimillion Empire

In the cricket world, there are a few names that fans revere. MS Dhoni, one of India’s cricketing legends, is one of these. Over the years, the former Indian cricket team captain has won the hearts of his fans both on and off the field. He is considered to be among the wealthiest of the cricketers and has a net worth above Rs 1,040 crore. Apart from his illustrious cricket career which has immensely contributed to his earnings, he also has a few businesses and investments, brand endorsements and social media platforms adding to his wealth.

MS Dhoni, who is also lovingly called Thala is charging Rs 12 crore in the Indian Premier League (IPL). While he may have stepped down as the captain, his influence remains formidable. He charges fees ranging from Rs 1 crore to Rs 2 crore for social media endorsements. Reportedly, for his brand endorsement deals, he demands Rs 4 crore to Rs 6 crore each. Apart from this, Captain Cool also has his renowned clothing brand called Seven, a sports company and ventures in real estate.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the owner of a mid-range hotel named Hotel Mahi Residency, in his city, Ranchi and is listed with Airbnb, Oyo and Make My Trip. Additionally, he established an English medium CBSE curriculum following an education institute called MS Dhoni Global School in Bengaluru. He has invested in a beverage and chocolate company called 7Ink Brews.

He also owns a gym chain called Dhoni Sportsfit which has mushroomed in over 200 locations across the country.

Despite having retired from international cricket in 2020, his charisma, popularity and brand value remain undiminished. The cricket icon is the Vice President of a cement company called India Cements Ltd. He is the co-owner of the Chennai-based football club Chennaiyin FV and a Ranchi-based hockey club Ranchi Rays. He is an investor and brand ambassador of a vehicle reseller called Car24.

Apart from these, he is a proud owner of various motorbikes like- the Norton Jubilee 250, Kawasaki Ninja H2, and Confederate X132 Hellcat and swanky cars like- the Nissan SUV Jong, Land Rover 3 Station Wagon series, Rolls Royce Siver Wraith II 1980s edition and Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk to name a few.
