Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 Launched In India, Price Starts At Rs 3.35 Crore

Mercedes-Benz has launched the Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC at a starting price of Rs. 3.35 crore (ex-showroom).

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 stands out with its extraordinary design. The car features the Maybach radiator grille with chrome vertical slats, air inlet grilles in the front apron, redesigned front and rear bumpers, upgraded LED headlamps and taillights,and unique Maybach-specific alloys.

Inside the cabin, the Maybach GLS 600 offers generous legroom, cushions, and a range of features such as massage and climatized seats, acoustic comfort, and the air balance system with air purification. The vehicle also boasts first-class split seats, an extended center console with a waterfall design, a refrigerated compartment at the rear, and champagne flutes.

According to the official press release, Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, stated “The Mercedes-Maybach GLS on other hand is the pinnacle of luxury, embodying the ultimate luxury experience with its impressive exterior design and high-class interior appointments. In a short span since its debut in India, this luxury SUV has been the most aspired luxury vehicle across the country, for customers seeking an opulent and exclusive Maybach experience in the form of a SUV. It truly is the Maybach of all SUVs.”

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is packed with advanced features. It includes the latest generation MBUX with an interior assistant, Burmester surround sound system, a 360-degree camera, ADAS Level 2 assistance, E-Active body control, Keyless Go, rear infotainment screens, parking assist, among many others. Buyers can further personalize their vehicles through Mercedes’ Manufaktur options.

Under the hood, the 2024 Maybach GLS 600 is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 557bhp and 730Nm of torque. It also features a 48V mild-hybrid motor that adds an extra 22bhp and 250Nm. The car comes with a nine-speed automatic gearbox.
