Ampere reduces prices of e-scooters

New Delhi: Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited (GEMPL), the e-mobility business of Greaves Cotton Limited, Thursday reduced prices of its highest selling models aligning with its mission to make “Har Gully Electric.”

With this, the company’s highest-selling scooters Magnus EX and Magnus LT are now available at INR 94,900 (INR 104,900) and at INR 84,900 (93,900) (ex-showroom), respectively, he company said.

With a removable battery pack, multiple modes, large seat and premium metallic colours, the Magnus is a pioneering electric scooter at an affordable price. Further, Ampere’s entry-level electric scooter Reo Li Plus, conceptualised with the purpose of democratising e-mobility in India by delivering maximum convenience of usage, is now available at an ex-showroom price of INR 59,900 only. The Reo Li Plus comes with a removable Lithium-Ion battery pack which offers a certified range of ~70KM on a single charge - making it ideal to meet Indians’ daily mobility needs. The Reo Li Plus does not require a license or registration is an easy-to-use yet sturdy electric scooter, the company said in a media release.

The company recently introduced its first high-performance family electric scooter, Ampere Nexus, and has been garnering excellent response pan-India. It comes in two variants, EX and ST, and boasts class-leading features like a 3kWh LFP battery with 30% extra battery life and a rapid charging time of 3 hours 22 minutes with a top speed of 93kmph and a certified range of 136 km. Ampere Nexus comes with an introductory price of INR 1,09,900 for the EX model and INR 1,19,000 for the ST model, with bookings open at INR 9,999 on the Ampere website, the release said.
