HMSI 125cc motorcycle sales cross 30 lakh in East India

HMSI dominates the 125cc motorcycle segment in East India, which includes the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha and North-East India, with a market share of 41.5% in FY24.
New Delhi: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), a leading manufacturer of two-wheelers in the country, announced Honda’s 125cc motorcycles, Shine 125 and SP125, have crossed over 30 lakh customers in Eastern India.

HMSI dominates the 125cc motorcycle segment in East India, which includes the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha and North-East India, with a market share of 41.5% in FY24. Bihar is the highest state for HMSI with 35% contribution to 125cc motorcycle sales in the Eastern region, the company said in a media release.
