Magenta Mobility, an integrated electric mobility solutions provider, and Switch Mobility, the electric vehicle arm of the Hinduja Group, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to procure 500 SWITCH IeV4 (Intelligent EV) over two years.

The key handover and vehicle flag-off was done by Maxson Lewis, founder and CEO of Magenta Mobility, and Mahesh Babu, CEO of Switch Mobility, in the presence of many clients, the companies said.

With this partnership, Magenta Mobility seeks to harness Switch Mobility's commercial electric vehicles to enhance its last-mile and mid-mile intra-city operations for clients throughout India. The partnership also aims to integrate Switch Mobility's EV technology with Magenta Mobility's service portfolio of logistics, charging and technology, a media release said.

Maxson Lewis said, "We are thrilled to join hands with Switch Mobility to accelerate our commitment to decarbonize logistics in India. The strategic partnership with Magenta Mobility strengthens our commitment to a cleaner future.
