Royal Enfield domestic sales up 9% to 75,038 units in April 2024

Royal Enfield's domestic sales grew 9% with 75,038 units sold in April 2024, as against 68,881 sold during the same period in the previous financial year.
New Delhi: Royal Enfield Wednesday said its sales for April 2024 stood at 81,870 motorcycles as against 73,136 units in April 2023, registering a growth of 12%. The company exported 6,832 motorcycles during the month as compared to 4,255 during the same period last year.

Royal Enfield's domestic sales grew 9% with 75,038 units sold in April 2024, as against 68,881 sold during the same period in the previous financial year.

B Govindarajan, CEO, Royal Enfield, said, “We’ve had a remarkable FY24, and we are all set for an exciting year ahead and are prepared for the challenges. We’ve already begun this year on a strong footing and have continued our double-digit growth and with a strong pipeline of products I am confident that we will be able to sustain and build further on our growth momentum.”

Royal Enfield recorded total sales of 75,551 motorcycles in March 2024, an increase of 5%, as against 72,235 units sold during the same period in the previous financial year. The domestic sales reported a growth of 11% to 66,044 units compared to 59,884 units in March 2023. Exports in March 2024 decreased 23% to 9,507 units, as against 12,351 units sold in the same month last year.
