VECV sales increases 5.7% with 7,609 units in September

In the domestic market, sales of Eicher branded trucks and buses rose by 2% to 6,847 units in September compared to 6,715 units in the same month last year.
Eicher Motors Ltd reported a 5.7% year-on-year increase in sales for its subsidiary. Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles, a leading commercial vehicle revealed that it has sold 7,609 units in September. This includes 7,322 units from the Eicher brand and 287 units from the Volvo brand.

The company sold 7,198 vehicles in September 2023. VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd is a joint venture between Eicher Motors and Volvo Group.

"The company stated, 'VE Commercial Vehicles recorded a significant year-on-year growth in exports, showcasing the increasing demand for its products in international markets'."

Domestic sales and exports

In the domestic market, sales of Eicher branded trucks and buses rose by 2% to 6,847 units in September compared to 6,715 units in the same month last year.

Exports of Eicher branded trucks and buses saw significant growth, with 475 units sold in the previous month compared to 250 units in September 2023, marking a year-on-year growth of 90%.
