Bajaj Auto September sales up 23% to 3,11,887 units

Bajaj Auto total sales grew 20% Y-o-Y with 4,69,531 units sold in September 2024, as against 3,92,558 units in September 2023.
Bajaj Auto, one of India's leading automobile manufacturers, reported an increase of 23% Y-o-Y to 3,11,887 units in September 2024 domestic sales, compared to 2,53,193 units in September 2023. The company has observed a growth in both domestic and overall sales for the September 2024 month.

Domestic sales and exports

Domestic sales saw an increment of 23% to 3,11,887 units compared to 2,53,193 units sold in September 2023. On the export front, Bajaj Auto saw a 13% growth, reporting 1,57,644 units shipped to international markets in September 2023, compared to 1,39,365 units exported in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Two- wheeler segment

Within the two-wheeler segment, Bajaj Auto reported a 22% increase in total sales, with 4,00,489 units sold in September 2024, compared to 3,27,712 units sold in September 2023. The report reported a 28% increase in domestic sales, with 2,59,333 units sold in September 2024, compared to 2,02,510 units sold in September 2023.

Commercial vehicle segment

The company witnessed an increase of 6% in the total sales of commercial vehicles to 69,042 units compared to 64,846 units last year. The company also reported an increase in its domestic CV sales with 52,554 units, surges 4% from 50,683 units in September 2023. The exports also accounted for a growth of 16% to 16,488 compared to last year's 14,163 units.
