Mahindra & Mahindra reports 24% growth in passenger vehicle sales for September, total sales reach 87,839 units

The company's overall exports surges to 3,027 units in September 2024, that is 25% higher than its sales in September 2024 that was 2,419.
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), one of India’s leading automotive companies, today announced that its overall auto sales for the month of September 2024. The company reported overall positive growth in its sales with 24% growth recorded in passenger vehicle Y-o-Y, while a decent increase is observed in commercial vehicle segment. The company recorded a total sales of total volumes of 87,839 units.

Passenger vehicle

In the Utility Vehicles segment, Mahindra and Mahindra sold 51,062 vehicles in the domestic market in comparison with 41,267 units in September 2023. The company observed a rise of 24% Y-o-Y in the same segment. The exports stood at 52,590 vehicles.

Commercial vehicle

In the commercial vehicle segment, Mahindra performed well. The company recorded sales of 10,044 units for electric three wheelers units for September 2024, as against 7,921 units in the same month last year. While Mahindra's LCV +MHCV segment accounted sales of 23,706 units in September 2024.

Exports

The company's overall exports surges to 3,027 units in September 2024, that is 25% higher than its sales in September 2024 that was 2,419.
