JSW MG Motor India launches Astor Blackstorm and Hector Snowstorm at INR 13.45 lakh and INR 21.53 lakh

JSW MG Motor India has launched two special edition SUVs: the Snowstorm MG Hector and the Blackstorm 2024 Limited Edition Astor.
JSW MG Motor India has introduced two special edition SUVs: the ‘Snowstorm’ MG Hector and the ‘Blackstorm 2024 Limited Edition’ Astor. The launches, aimed at catering to SUV enthusiasts in India, offer captivating exteriors, luxurious interiors, and advanced technology at competitive prices. The MG Hector Snowstorm starts at INR 21,52,800/- lakh (ex-showroom) and the Astor Blackstorm begins at INR 13,44,800/- lakh (ex-showroom).

Highlighting the significance of these models, Satinder Singh Bajwa, Chief Commercial Officer, JSW MG Motor India, expressed excitement about the new launches. "We are excited to introduce Hector Snowstorm and Astor Blackstorm edition today. These special editions reflect our commitment to deliver on market insights and customers’ preferences by offering them exciting and innovative products with multiple choices. The Snowstorm edition signifies Hector’s five years of successful journey in India. While Astor Blackstorm showcases our dedication to crafting distinctive and refined driving experiences and choose from the range of India’s most advanced SUV in its class,” he said.

MG Hector Snowstorm

The MG Hector Snowstorm boasts a striking two-tone exterior, with a pristine white body contrasted by a sleek black roof. Dark chrome accents, including a Dark Chrome brand logo and Hector emblem, grille surround, bumper garnish, tailgate garnish, and body side molding, add a touch of luxury. Additional black highlights include R18 Sporty All Black Alloys with Red Callipers and a black headlamp bezel. Customers can also get a Snowstorm Emblem fitted at the dealership at no extra cost.

Inside, the MG Hector Snowstorm features an all-black luxurious interior with debossed front seats and Gun Metal accents. The Gun Metal Grey Finish is applied to several interior components, including the console, door handles, steering wheel, IP and AC vents garnish, HU surround, and gear knob. The SUV also comes equipped with India's largest 35.56 cm (14-inch) HD Portrait Infotainment System and a Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof. The Snowstorm Debossing is present on the front headrest, and the steering wheel is wrapped in leather. An accessory package with red accents for the fog lamp eye shadow, ORVM protector, and tailgate garnish is available.

Astor Blackstorm

The Astor Blackstorm is characterised by an All Black Honeycomb Pattern Grille, black finish headlamps, and front and rear bumpers. Black alloy wheels with red front brake calipers, glossy black door garnish, black side door cladding, and roof rails enhance its bold appearance. The SUV also features the ‘Blackstorm ’ emblem on its front fenders and a black lower rear bumper.

Inside, the Astor Blackstorm includes Tuxedo Black Upholstery with Red Stitching and ‘Black Storm’ Red embroidery on the front seat headrests. Sangria Red-Themed AC Vents, an all-black floor console, and steering wheel and door trims with red stitching create a refined in-cabin ambiance. The MG ASTOR Blackstorm also comes with JBL speakers for a premium acoustic experience.

Astor stands out as the first car in MG's global portfolio to feature a personal AI assistant. Powered by mid-range radars and a multi-purpose camera, the Autonomous Level 2 Astor includes advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Since its 2021 launch, Astor has offered a range of advanced tech features, such as a Digital Car Key, 49 Safety features, and over 80 i-SMART capabilities. These elements cater to tech-savvy consumers seeking innovative automotive experiences.

What is MG Shield?

Both the Hector Snowstorm and Astor Blackstorm editions are backed by MG’s unique car maintenance program, “MG Shield.” The program includes a 3+3+3 package: three years of warranty with unlimited kilometers, three years of roadside assistance, and three labor-free periodic services. Owners also have options to extend the warranty and roadside assistance and choose from MG’s Protect plans for pre-paid maintenance, ensuring a worry-free ownership journey.
