The Nexon.ev 45 kWh price ranges from INR 13.99 lakh to INR 17.19 lakh for the Empowered + 45 Red Dark variant.
Tata Motors has launched the Nexon iCNG and new additions to the Nexon.ev range. These additions include a 45 kWh battery pack and the Red Dark edition, making Nexon the first vehicle in India available in petrol, diesel, CNG, and electric powertrains.

Since its introduction in 2017, the Nexon SUV has been consistently among Tata's bestsellers, with over seven lakh vehicles sold in seven years.

"With more than seven lakh vehicles sold in just seven years, the Nexon has created a distinct mark for itself amongst customers in India’s growing SUV market," said Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd.

"Nexon’s popularity has steadily increased, driven by well-timed and innovative technological upgrades, and today's new launches further enhance its appeal. These additions take forward Tata Motor’s successful multi powertrain strategy and ensure that there is indeed a Nexon for every need," Srivatsa added.

Nexon iCNG

The Nexon iCNG is India's first turbocharged CNG vehicle. It features a 1.2L turbocharged engine, producing 100PS of power and 170NM of torque, ensuring excellent performance. The Nexon iCNG also offers segment-leading boot space of 321 liters, courtesy of Tata Motor’s twin-cylinder technology. It includes features like a panoramic sunroof, leatherette ventilated seats, and a 10.25” infotainment screen by Harman.

In terms of safety, the Nexon iCNG maintains Tata Motors’ high standards. Built on a 5-star G-NCAP rated architecture, it comes with advanced safety features such as Leak Detection, Fire Protection Device, Thermal Incident Protection, and Rear Impact Protection.

The iCNG price ranges from INR 8.99 lakh to INR 14.59 lakh.

Nexon.ev 45 kWh

The Nexon.ev now includes a 45 kWh battery pack that supports faster charging speeds at a 1.2C charge rating. It offers a range of 489 km (Urban + Extra Urban) and Tata.ev’s real-world range of 350–370 km. This makes intercity travel more convenient for customers, addressing concerns about the acquisition costs associated with EVs.

The Red Dark edition of the Nexon.ev enhances its premium appeal. This version incorporates red-themed inserts across the interior and exterior, exclusive UI & UX for the infotainment system and instrument cluster, along with a panoramic sunroof and a frunk. Popular features such as Arcade.ev, smart welcome and goodbye sequences, a charging indicator integrated in the front LED DRL, Vehicle to Vehicle and Vehicle to Load technology, and a phygital control panel are all included.

"The introduction of the 45 kWh battery pack in the Nexon.ev will enable customers to enjoy hassle-free intercity travel and longer C75 near-real world range of 350–370 KM while enjoying familiar comforts and conveniences," said Vivek Srivatsa. "Discerning customers seeking to make a statement or accustomed to preferring premium will find the Red Dark edition experience more interesting."

The Nexon.ev 45 kWh price ranges from INR 13.99 lakh to INR 17.19 lakh for the Empowered + 45 Red Dark variant.
