New Delhi:
BMW has launched the first-ever BMW XM Label in India, offering the model as a Completely Built-up Unit (CBU). Out of the 500 units produced, only one will be available in India. This exclusive model is priced at INR 3,15,00,000 ex-showroom.

Vikram Pawah, President and CEO, BMW Group India, said, "The first-ever BMW XM Label maximises the exclusivity factor with even more expressive styling. "The BMW XM Label responds to the needs and desires of customers with a taste for an extroverted lifestyle and passion for ultimate performance in a car reaching beyond traditional conventions. The vehicle boasts an exclusive BMW Frozen Carbon Black Metallic paintwork and features BMW Individual Leather Merino upholstery in Fiona Red/Black.

Exterior

The front-end design includes the illuminated BMW glow kidney grille surround. Toronto Red metallic is used for the BMW M kidney grille surround and rear diffuser insert, adding to the model's unique character. Additional red accents appear on the model badges and wheel inserts, creating contrast against the Frozen Carbon Black metallic body paint. The exterior also features exclusive 22-inch M light alloy wheels and M Sports Brakes with Red Calipers.

Interior

Inside, the vehicle follows a black/red color scheme. Black surfaces cover the three-dimensional headliner and body pillars, while red is used to accent diamond-shaped upper sections of the backrests, head restraints, and the seats. Red contrast stitching complements the black surfaces of the seats, instrument panel, door trim, and center console, alongside red accents for the air vents.

Additional exclusive interior features include a red "XM" badge and an interior trim strip in Carbon Fibre satin effect, marked with red and blue accent threads. A plaque reading "1 of 500" below the control display denotes the limited-edition status.

The cockpit includes M multifunction seats, knee pads, M-specific content on the BMW Curved Display, and a standard-fitted BMW head-up display. Other notable features include the signature M gear selector lever and an M-specific control panel on the center console. The M leather steering wheel has trim elements in Black Chrome, along with M buttons and gearshift paddles featuring carbon inlays with red plus and minus symbols.

The interior also features a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System with 20 speakers and a 1,475-watt amplifier, providing a 3D sound experience.

Drivetrain

The M Hybrid system in the BMW XM Label combines an electric motor with a V8 engine, delivering up to 550 kW (748 hp) and 1000 Nm of torque. The V8 engine alone produces up to 430 kW (585 hp) and 720 Nm of torque, while the electric motor generates up to 145 kW (197 hp) and 280 Nm of torque.

A high voltage 25.7 kW lithium-ion battery provides a pure-electric driving range of up to 76 - 82 km. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 -100 km/hr in 3.8 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/hr, which can rise to 290 km/hr with the M Driver’s Package. The XM also offers an emotionally rich sound experience in pure-electric mode with BMW IconicSounds Electric.

A complimentary BMW Wallbox charger comes with the BMW XM Label, with installation available for convenient home charging.

The car features a fourth-generation 8-speed M Steptronic transmission. Three driving modes can be selected using the M Hybrid button on the center console. The M xDrive all-wheel-drive system ensures traction, agility, and directional stability, with fully variable power distribution between front and rear axles and between left and right rear wheels, the company said.

Safety and convenience

The vehicle comes with a driver assistance system which includes Parking Assistant Plus with Surround View Camera, making parking easier by taking over acceleration, braking, and steering. The Reversing Assistant records the last 50 meters driven and assists with reverse maneuvering.

The newly designed Travel & Comfort System offers rear entertainment customisation.
