Hyundai launches two new variants of Exter with advanced features and enhanced safety, price starting at INR 7.86 lakh

The S+ (AMT) and S(O)+ (MT) variants are equipped with a range of advanced features.
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) today introduced two new variants, S+ (AMT) and S(O)+ (MT), for its popular entry SUV, the Hyundai Exter. Hyundai Exter S(O)+ (MT) and S+ (AMT) launched at INR 7,86,300 and INR 8,43,900 respectively.

These variants, designed for India’s dynamic Gen MZ, feature a smart electric sunroof and are powered by the 1.2L Kappa petrol engine. The new models aim to deliver exceptional performance and cater to customers driven by adventure and exploration.

Features

The S+ (AMT) and S(O)+ (MT) variants are equipped with a range of advanced features. These include a smart electric sunroof, a digital cluster with a color TFT Multi-Information Display (MID), and a 20.32 cm (8”) touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additional amenities such as rear AC vents, all power windows, LED DRLs, front and rear skid plates, a headlamp escort function, and floor mats enhance the driving experience.

Safety

Safety is a top priority for Hyundai Motor India Limited. The new Exter variants come with a comprehensive suite of safety features. This includes 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, Day & Night IRVM, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (Highline). Additionally, the variants are equipped with Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), a burglar alarm, ABS with EBD, impact-sensing auto door unlock, and an emergency stop signal (ESS).

“With the introduction of S+ (AMT) and S(O)+ (MT) variants, Hyundai has taken a step forward in providing innovative features and superior performance,” said a company spokesperson. The new Hyundai Exter variants aim to cater to customers who are passionate about adventure and exploration while ensuring maximum safety and comfort.
