BGauss begins production of electric two-wheeler RUV350 in Maharashtra

BGauss, a pioneer in electric mobility, announced the commencement of production for its latest electric two-wheeler, the RUV350, at its Chakan, Maharashtra facility on August 30, 2024. This signals BGauss's commitment to innovative and sustainable mobility solutions, aiming to set new benchmarks in the electric two-wheeler market with advanced features and superior performance tailored for Indian riders.

Features

It features a high-capacity lithium-ion battery that offers an ARAI Approved extended range of up to 145 kilometers on a single charge. Additionally, it comes with a powerful in-wheel hyperdrive electric motor, providing smooth acceleration and a top speed of 75 km/h. The combination of these features is designed to offer a superior experience in the electric two-wheeler market.

Developed and manufactured in India, the RUV350 addresses the specific needs of Indian riders. Unique features include 16-inch alloy wheels and storage space for a helmet, charger, and other essentials, making it the only two-wheeler in India to offer such conveniences along with larger wheels. The robust metal body enhances durability, safety, and ride quality, while the high-performance InWheel Hyper Drive Motor ensures efficient and reliable power. A standout feature is the exceptional gradeability, allowing the RUV350 to navigate steep inclines and varied terrains easily, ensuring a stable and dependable ride in both hilly and flat urban environments.

The RUV350 is designed with features that set it apart in the market. These include a digital TFT cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, integrated navigation, and a remote diagnostics system for enhanced convenience and safety. The digital display shows real-time information such as call notifications and turn-by-turn navigation. Other features supported are cruise control, hill hold, reverse mode, fall sense, side and main stand sensors, and vacation mode. The display also offers live vehicle tracking, geo-fencing, 'God mode' (vehicle immobilisation), a dual theme, photometric adaptive display for day and night modes, document storage, speed, battery status, and range.

BGauss boasts a strong nationwide presence with over 120 dealerships, ensuring customers have easy access to sales, service, and support. BGauss dealers are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and trained professionals to assist with everything from test rides to after-sales service, ensuring a seamless ownership experience.

The BGauss RUV 350 has also set a new national record by becoming the first electric two-wheeler to reach Umling La, the world’s highest motorable road. This achievement was the result of a challenging journey that began in Leh and concluded at the summit, showcasing the RUV 350’s resilience and advanced engineering. Despite near-freezing temperatures and other harsh conditions, the RUV 350 performed flawlessly, demonstrating its capability and reliability.

The BGauss RUV350 is available for purchase at all 120 BGauss dealerships. It is competitively priced starting from Rs. 1,09,999/- (ex-showroom), with various financing options available to make it accessible to a wide range of customers.
