Hyundai unveils new Alcazar SUV with advanced tech features, including NFC Digital Key and enhanced connectivity

The Hyundai Alcazar is designed to be a technologically advanced SUV, with innovations that significantly enhance safety, comfort, and connectivity for the users.
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) recently unveiled a host of advanced technology features in its latest offering, the Hyundai Alcazar. The new SUV, positioned as a premium 6 and 7 seater, combines versatility, modernity, and intelligent technology aimed at providing an enjoyable driving experience.

Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Limited, stated, "As we continue to enhance customer experiences through smart technology built into our products, we are proud to introduce The bold new HyundaiAlcazar with an array of new age technology features. The bold new HyundaiAlcazar radiates grandeur and modernity coupled with intelligent technology which we hope will surpass customer expectations. These features seek to elevate travel experiences for the customers and we hope to drive more affinity towards the brand."

Design and features

The Hyundai Alcazar is designed to be a technologically advanced SUV, with innovations that significantly enhance safety, comfort, and connectivity for the users. One of the standout features is the introduction of the Digital Key with NFC— a first in the HMIL portfolio. This feature allows customers to lock, unlock, and drive the SUV with a simple touch using their smartphone or smartwatch. Furthermore, the Digital Key can be shared with up to three different users or linked to seven devices simultaneously.

The Digital Key with NFC technology takes customer convenience to new heights by enabling effortless locking and unlocking of the SUV. This feature sets a new benchmark in automotive convenience and smart connectivity, making the driving experience seamless.

Interiors

Interior comfort is significantly heightened by the 26.03 cm (10.25″) HD infotainment system and a matching 26.03 cm (10.25″) digital cluster. These systems come with in-built navigation and support multi-language user interfaces, including 10 regional and two international languages. The SUV also features Dual Zone Automatic Climate Control (DATC) with a touch-type AC control panel for enhanced cabin comfort.

In terms of connectivity, the Hyundai Alcazar offers over 70 BlueLink connected car features. It also supports smartwatch and smartphone connectivity for greater convenience. To cater to diverse user preferences, the SUV is equipped with 270+ embedded voice recognition (VR) commands available in Hinglish and Hindi, facilitating ease of use during journeys.

Sound

Adding to the user experience, the Hyundai Alcazar includes 10 ambient sounds of nature, such as "Lively forest," "On a sailing ship," "City at dawn," "Outer space communication," "Rainy day," "Moment of meditation," "Harbingers of spring," "A summer night's rest," "Autumn sentiments," and "Warmth in winter," enriching the overall driving atmosphere.

The SUV also boasts several innovative features aimed at modern convenience, such as rain-sensing wipers, an 8-speaker Bose Premium Sound System, and a voice-enabled Smart Panoramic Sunroof. Additional features like a second-row wireless charger and a magnetic pad enhance the vehicle's appeal. These elements ensure that the Hyundai Alcazar redefines driving experiences with a blend of intelligence, comfort, and performance.
