Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has launched three new customer touchpoints in Bengaluru, which include two showrooms and a service workshop. The first delivery of the 4th Generation 'Made in Japan' X-Trail, featuring Variable Compression Turbo technology, also took place on this occasion. Now the company has 273 touchpoints across India.

The new Jubilant Nissan showrooms and service workshop were inaugurated by Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India. This event expands the brand’s presence and strengthens its relationship with Jubilant MotorWorks, extending their reach from Delhi NCR to Bengaluru.

Nissan delivered the first 4th Generation X-Trail to its inaugural customer in India at the Jubilant Nissan Showroom launch in Nagarbhavi. The X-Trail caters to automotive enthusiasts and customers looking for a balanced mix of versatility, reliability, and practicality.

With the inclusion of Jubilant Nissan’s three new touchpoints in Bengaluru, Nissan now operates a total of 18 customer touchpoints in Karnataka, comprising 10 sales and 8 service touchpoints. The network in Karnataka is set to expand to 20 touchpoints with the addition of two new touchpoints in Mangalore.

Vatsa said, "The Southern region is a significant contributor to Nissan’s sales in India, with Karnataka emerging as one of our strongest markets, and Bengaluru being a key city in this region. In line with our commitment to enhancing customer experiences, we have expanded our network in this vibrant city. The new Jubilant Nissan touchpoints will further strengthen our presence in Karnataka and meet the growing demand for Nissan domestic and CBU products. We are on track to touch 300 touchpoints by the end of this fiscal and the delivery of the first 4th Generation X-Trail to a former X-Trail owner and Nissan afficionado is testament to our CBU business plans in India."

The two new Jubilant Nissan showrooms have a combined display area of 6,600 sq. ft., while the high-capacity Jubilant Nissan service workshop spans 13,600 sq. ft. Both the showrooms and the service workshop are equipped with top-notch amenities and are staffed by knowledgeable, well-trained, and passionate sales and service professionals. This ensures a seamless car-buying and ownership experience for customers.

Nissan recently launched its new 4th Generation X-Trail as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) unit in India. Designed for a refined driving experience, the X-Trail features the world’s first production Variable Compression engine, which delivers exceptional power and fuel efficiency. The SUV is equipped with the latest 3rd generation XTRONIC CVT, which includes D-Step Logic Control and Paddle Shifters for enhanced acceleration and seamless shifting. Additionally, the 12V ALiS (Advanced Lithium-ion Battery System) mild hybrid technology significantly improves fuel economy, providing benefits such as torque assist, extended idle stop, quick restart, and reduced CO2 emissions.

To meet the evolving needs of customers, Nissan has also expanded its product lineup with the launch of the Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift and the Magnite KURO Special Edition. These additions to the bestselling Magnite family cater to diverse customer needs by offering various transmission options, including naturally aspirated and turbo engines with Manual Transmission (MT), Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), and Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) gearboxes.

Nissan Motor India operates on a ‘phygital’ distribution approach, ensuring a seamless, convenient experience by integrating offline and online payment options accessible at the customer’s preferred showroom.
