New Delhi: Gentari Green Mobility India, a subsidiary of the clean energy solutions provider Gentari, launched the Gentari Go app in India. The app, designed to streamline and enhance user engagement with green energy, promises to revolutionise the landscape of e-mobility and sustainable energy solutions in the country.

At the launch event, Gentari also signed contracts with the strategic partners, Numocity, Statiq, and ChargeZone. The collaborative effort will provide users with access to over 1,500 chargers across India via the Gentari Go app.

"Collaborating with partners, customers, and governments to achieve net zero in countries like India is our priority. Partnerships are crucial for advancing clean energy, and Gentari is committed to forging collaborations across our Renewable Energy, Hydrogen, and Green Mobility business. Today's launch of the Gentari Go app and new partnerships affirm this commitment," said Navjit Gill, Gentari's Country Head for India.

India's transportation sector, a major contributor to carbon emissions, is a focal point for the nation's green mobility goals, which aim for 30% EV adoption by 2030 and a significant expansion of EV charging infrastructure. The Gentari Go app offers a comprehensive suite of features to support these objectives, benefiting both businesses and consumers, the company stated.

Nikhil Thomas, CEO of Gentari Green Mobility India, emphasised the app's role in reducing India's transportation-related carbon emissions. "Our team is dedicated to advancing India's green mobility agenda. The launch of Gentari Go today marks a significant milestone, providing solutions that enable efficient decarbonisation and improved operational efficiency for businesses of all sizes."

Business solutions

For businesses, the Gentari Go app offers access to an extensive network of public chargers, business credits, and optimised fleet management through telematics support. Charging point operators can integrate with the Gentari Go roaming hub, connecting B2C and B2B customers and providing immediate access to a larger customer base with additional revenue.

Car manufacturers and OEMs can enhance customer experiences with features like Membership Passes, Credits, AutoCharge, Plug & Charge, and in-car integration.

Consumer solutions

For consumers, the Gentari Go app promises a user-friendly interface for discovering, activating, and paying for services. It offers an extensive network of EV chargers and the ability to explore roof-top solar solutions through HomeScape by Amplus Solar.

The app will soon introduce in-app booking for EV test drives from leading brands in India. To incentivise clean energy adoption, Gentari Go rewards users with points and redeemable incentives for contributing to clean energy causes.

Regional network and future plans

Gentari Green Mobility's network spans Malaysia, Thailand, and India, with more than 920 charging points and over 3,800 EVs deployed across the region through its Vehicle-As-A-Service (VaaS) offering. According to the company, the Gentari Go app is set to play a pivotal role in achieving India's net zero carbon goals.
