Suzuki Motorcycle India domestic sales up 25% to 1,00,602 units in July 2024

n the domestic market, SMIPL’s sales crossed the 1-Lakh mark at 1,00,602 units in July 2024, a growth of 25% over last year’s 80,309 units.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) sold 116,714 units in July 2024, marking an 8% year-on-year growth from 107,836 units in July 2023. This includes over 1 lakh units sold domestically and 16,112 units exported.

In the domestic market, SMIPL reached 100,602 units in July 2024, registering a 25% growth compared to the previous year's 80,309 units. The company's exports for the month totaled 16,112 units, down from 27,527 units in July 2023.

"Suzuki Motorcycle India recorded the highest ever sales of more than 1.16 Lakh scooters & motorcycles in July 2024. Backed by healthy demand for our products in the domestic market, our sales grew by 25% in the month, crossing the 1 Lakh unit mark for the first time. I extend my heartfelt thanks to our valued customers, dedicated dealer network, and our esteemed business partners for their continued trust and support, which has helped us to reach this milestone," stated Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd.

In July 2024, SMIPL also refreshed its scooter lineup in India. The Suzuki Access 125 and Suzuki Burgman Street were introduced in special festive colors. Additionally, the company launched the 2024 Suzuki Avenis in four new color combinations featuring bold and futuristic edgy graphics.
