The repeated bending caused by engine oscillation leads to cracks and breakages, potentially causing engine stalls. Water exposure can further damage critical sensors, affecting the overall operation of the vehicles.
The V-strom 800DE, with 67 recalled units, manufactured between May 5, 2023, and April 23, 2024, faces a different issue. These motorcycles may have been equipped with a rear tire that could develop cracks or other deformations in the tire tread. Prolonged use could lead to tread separation from the tire structure, impacting overall vehicle dynamics and safety.
