BYD India launches three variants of the BYD ATTO 3 starting at INR 24.99 Lakh

New Delhi: BYD India, a subsidiary of the New Energy Vehicles (NEV) manufacturer BYD, has announced an expansion of its product line with new variants of the BYD ATTO 3 SUV. This initiative includes the launch of the all-new Cosmos Black Edition and three additional variants: Dynamic, Premium, and Superior. The primary goal is to enhance accessibility and offer a wider range of choices for customers. The move follows the tremendous success and high customer interest in the original BYD ATTO 3, aiming to cater to a more diverse customer base.

The new lineup for the BYD ATTO 3 starts with the Dynamic variant, followed by the Premium and Superior versions. The Dynamic variant is priced at an introductory Ex-showroom cost of INR 24.99 Lakh, making this electric vehicle more accessible to a broader audience. Each variant is crafted to meet the diverse needs of BYD India’s customers and has received certification from the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI).

The Premium and Superior variants offer an impressive range of 521 km as per ARAI testing and 480 km according to the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC). These variants are powered by a battery capacity of 60.48 kWh. The Dynamic variant, in contrast, offers a range of 468 km as per ARAI testing and 410 km according to NEDC, with a robust battery capacity of 49.92 kWh. This highlights BYD’s commitment to delivering vehicles with exceptional performance and efficiency.

The homologation certificate from ARAI further reinforces BYD India's credibility and commitment to delivering reliable products. BYD India is expanding its dealership network, now comprising 26 showrooms across 23 cities, to ensure first-rate service to its customers nationwide.

Mr. Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles (EPV) Business at BYD India, stated, "Unveiling this extended lineup of three variants of the BYD ATTO 3 - Dynamic, Premium and Superior - is a significant milestone for us and a pivotal moment in India’s electric vehicle landscape. We have also introduced the Cosmos Black Edition, adding an element of style and colour to our new lineup. Our diversified offerings not only expand our product portfolio but also pave the way for a more inclusive EV future. We aim to make premium electric mobility accessible to a broader audience. With the launch of these new variants, we are one step closer to realizing this vision."

The new variants of the BYD ATTO 3, equipped with the ultra-safe Blade Battery, are set to mark a new era in the electric vehicle segment in India. They offer a balance between accessibility and range with a battery capacity of either 49.92 kWh or 60.48 kWh. These SUVs also boast rapid charging capabilities, reaching 0% to 80% in just 50 minutes. The vehicles feature dynamic exteriors, rhythmic interiors, and advanced features tailored to customer preferences, such as seven airbags, a panoramic sunroof, and a 360° holographic imaging system.
