Royal Enfield domestic sales down 2% with 66,117 units in June

Domestic sales fell by 2%, totaling 66,117 units, down from 67,495 units in June 2022.
Motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield reported a 5% decline in total sales for June, with 73,141 units sold compared to 77,109 units in the same month last year. Domestic sales fell by 2%, totaling 66,117 units, down from 67,495 units in June 2022. Exports experienced a more significant drop of 27%, with 7,024 units sold compared to 9,614 units during the same period last year.

Royal Enfield CEO B Govindarajan commented on the company's future plans. "We remain steadfast on our long-term plans and are making considerable progress towards the same. This year will be an exciting one for Royal Enfield, as we have several new launches planned that will significantly strengthen our product portfolio," he said.

One of the highlights for the company is the upcoming launch of a highly anticipated roadster, the Guerrilla 450, which will be introduced globally this month. Govindarajan expressed enthusiasm about the new model.

"This month, a highly anticipated roadster - the Guerrilla 450 - will be launched across the world and the company is excited about the possibilities it will unlock in the middle-weight category," he added.
