JSW MG Motor India reports 9% decline in sales for June 2024

Back in April 2024, MG Motor India clocked retail sales of 4,485 units, with the EV portfolio contributing 34% of the total units sold.
JSW MG Motor India reported a 9% year-on-year decline in retail sales for June, with figures dropping to 4,644 units from 5,125 units in June 2023. Despite this decline, the company's flagship SUV, the ZS EV, achieved its highest-ever monthly sales in June 2024.

New energy vehicles made up over 40% of total sales, accounting for 1,861 units during June. MG Motor India highlighted the contribution of these NEVs to their overall sales performance.

In a statement, the company said, "With over 40% of total sales, at 1,861 units during the month, NEVs (new energy vehicles) continue to contribute a significant share to the company's overall sales."

Back in April 2024, MG Motor India clocked retail sales of 4,485 units, with the EV portfolio contributing 34% of the total units sold.

The recently launched MG Hector Blackstorm SUV received a positive response from SUV enthusiasts across the country in May.
