Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship of the Hinduja Group and a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, inaugurated a new Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) dealership in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. This new dealership, operated by Sunil MotoCorp, marks the 8th LCV dealership in the state. Located near Durga Mandir, Chandangaon, Nagpur Road, this 3S (Sales, Service, and Spares) facility aims to enhance customer experience with advanced tools and infrastructure.

The new dealership features five quick service bays, ensuring swift service for customers. Ashok Leyland offers a wide range of LCV products, including the BADA DOST, DOST, PARTNER, and MiTR, which are manufactured at the company’s state-of-the-art plant in Hosur.

Amandeep Singh, President – IO, LCV, Defense & PSB, Ashok Leyland Ltd., expressed pride in the success of the company's products and extensive dealer network. "One of the key reasons for the runaway success of our ‘DOST Range’ and now the ‘BADA DOST’ has been the robustness of the product and our network. All our products have been receiving great response from our customers, thanks to their best-in-class mileage and class-leading performance, backed by an extensive sales and aftersales support," said Singh.

Singh also highlighted the company’s commitment to customer service, noting their high service retention levels. "We are extremely proud that our track record of service retention levels is exemplary with close to 70% of our customers returning to our dealer workshops, even after the warranty period. We, as always, would remain committed to maintaining and even enhancing the level of customer service and satisfaction. This new dealership is being opened to further strengthen our reach, in line with our commitment," he added.

In India, there are over 500,000 light commercial vehicles. The recently launched BADA DOST, built on a new LCV platform, offers three variants: i2, i3+, and i4. It features an 80 hp BS6 engine, providing best-in-class power, mileage, payload, load body length, and loading space, making it an ideal choice for both inter and intra-city applications. The BADA DOST boasts a low turning radius and high ground clearance, enabling it to navigate diverse terrains with ease.

The DOST range includes various models such as DOST LiTE, DOST STRONG, DOST XL, and DOST+ to meet different market needs. The PARTNER vehicle, designed for the 4-ton payload segment, comes in 4-tyre and 6-tyre options with load body choices of 10ft, 11ft, 14ft, and 17ft. It is powered by the ZD30 CRDI engine and is based on an internationally acclaimed platform.

MiTR bus, sharing the same platform as PARTNER, is available in standard and school bus versions. It offers superior mileage in stop-and-go conditions and complies with all school bus safety norms and compliance codes. It is known for providing unmatched ride comfort.

Pricing for the BADA DOST starts at INR 9,02,000/- for the i2 variant and goes up to INR 10,19,500/- for the i4 and i3+ variants. The DOST models are competitively priced starting from INR 7,85,000/-. The PARTNER model begins at an attractive price of INR 16,81,800/-. The MiTR bus is priced from INR 21,95,900/-.

Ashok Leyland boasts a vast network of over 1,700 exclusive outlets across the country, ensuring an authorized service center is available every 75 km on major highways. This extensive network is a significant factor in the company's ability to deliver reliable service to its customers.
