Vinfast's VF e34 E-SUV Spied in India, Likely to be Another Option in EV Segment

The Vietnam-based EV maker VinFast is all set to arrive in the Indian market. To contribute to the country’s growing EV segment, the brand might introduce its mid-size battery-powered SUV called VF e34. Ahead of the official release, the vehicle has been spied during testing, hinting about some of its elements and key features.

The company has not revealed any details regarding the launch date as yet. However, reports suggested that it might share some hints soon.

Overall Dimension

As per the spy shots, the electric SUV looks similar in size to the Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta. Talking about the overall dimension, it is likely to feature e 4.3 meters in length and expected to a decent wheelbase of 2.6 meters.

Despite being fully covered in heavy camouflage, the model hinted that it might hit the market with a fully LED headlight setup, while the tail is expected to be treated with a trending connected taillight.

Side Profile and Top Elements

Coming to the side profile, it might get decent-sized cladding, which will make it more aesthetic as compared to ICE model Seltos and Creta. From inside, the cabin will be equipped with a 3-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, a fully digital instrument cluster, and a robust vertical touchscreen infotainment system. The unit will support all the wireless car connect technology, including Android, Apple and Auto CarPlay.

Power, Range, and Top Speed

When it comes the power, VF e34 might use a single electric motor, which will generate a maximum power of 148 bhp and 242 Nm of peak torque. As far as the range is concerned, a 41.9 kWh battery pack is expected to provide an impressive range of 319 km (NEDC cycle). It has been reported that the India spec might do 0-100 km/h sprint under 9 seconds, and will offer a top speed of 130 km/h.
