New Delhi: Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited (GEMPL), the electric mobility arm of Greaves Cotton Limited, has announced the commencement of deliveries for its Ampere Nexus electric scooters in Bengaluru, coinciding with Ampere's 16th anniversary.

The Ampere Nexus, the brand's first high-performance family e-scooter, is available in two variants: Nexus EX and Nexus ST. This scooter is designed, developed, and manufactured in India, featuring several innovations and top-tier specifications. Deliveries will be phased throughout June, ensuring all customers who booked their scooters receive them promptly. The bookings for Nexus, which opened last month at INR 9,999, received an exceptional response from customers, according to the company.

K Vijaya Kumar, Executive Director and CEO of Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited, remarked, "Celebrating our 16th anniversary with the commencement of Ampere Nexus deliveries represents a significant milestone in our commitment to sustainable transportation. This occasion transcends the mere delivery of a high-performance electric scooter; it symbolises our resolute commitment to fostering a greener, more sustainable future."

Riders can choose from four vibrant colors: Zanskar Aqua, Indian Red, Lunar White, and Steel Grey. These options allow customers to match their personal style. The Nexus combines high performance with family-friendly features, redefining the electric scooter experience with superior comfort, style, performance, intelligence, and safety.

Earlier this year, the Ampere Nexus completed a remarkable journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, achieving four records recognized by the India Book of Records. The journey spanned over 10,000 kilometers, marking the longest distance covered by an electric scooter in a single trip. Additionally, the trip set another record by visiting 115 cities and towns continuously.

The company remains committed to delivering a sustainable future through electric mobility advancements.
