Bajaj Auto May 2024 domestic sales drop marginally to 225,087 units

The company witnessed an increase of 5% in the total sales of commercial vehicles to 49,841 units compared to 47,452 units last year.
New Delhi: Bajaj Auto, one of India's leading automobile manufacturers, reported a decrease of 1% to 225,087 units in May 2024 domestic sales, compared to 228,401 units in May 2023.

On the export front, Bajaj Auto saw a 3% growth, reporting 130,236 units shipped to international markets in May 2024, compared to 126,747 units exported in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Within the two-wheeler segment, Bajaj Auto reported 1% decrease in total sales, with 305,482 units in May 2024, compared to 307,696 units in May 2023. Domestic sales saw a decrease of 3% to 188,340 units compared to 194,811 units in May 2023. However, the exports increased by 4% to 117,142 units.
