Additionally, the US Department of Energy will collaborate with IESA to host a dedicated US-India Energy Storage seminar during the event.
Government leaders and corporate executives from over 20 nations will gather in New Delhi for the 10th edition of the India Energy Storage Week (IESW) from July 1-5, 2024. Representatives from countries with expertise in Energy Storage, EV, and Clean Tech, such as the US, UK, Canada, Australia, France, Norway, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, China, and Israel, are expected to attend, according to a statement from the India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), the event's organizer.

The IESW aims to bolster India's commitment to its net-zero emissions goal while enhancing the country's influence in the global markets for Energy Storage, EV, Clean Tech, and Green Hydrogen.

"This year, we have participation from 20+ countries including India, the USA, the UK, Norway, Australia, Germany, and many more. From India, too, we will have participation from across the spectrum, from startups to universities to large commercial industrial companies as well as many new industries looking at diversifying and entering this space," said Rahul Walawalkar, President of IESA and Customized Energy Solutions, India.

Australia and Norway have been designated as the country partners for IESW 2024.

The event will emphasize not only traditional energy storage solutions like batteries and thermal storage but also emerging technologies such as solid-state batteries, lithium-sulfur batteries, and sodium-ion batteries from around the world.

Startups will also have a platform to showcase their innovations. UK-based LINA Energy will exhibit its sodium-ion battery solutions. Australia's Galion and France's Blue Solutions will present their lithium-sulfur battery technology and solid-state batteries, respectively.

Additionally, the US Department of Energy will collaborate with IESA to host a dedicated US-India Energy Storage seminar during the event.

For those interested in long-duration energy storage (LDES) technologies, the LDES Council will hold a round-table discussion. This session will explore solutions like sodium-ion batteries, flow batteries, pumped-hydro storage, and mechanical storage.
