First batch of Switch IEV4 eLCVs arrives in Delhi for e-mobility tech platform MoEVing

The Switch Mobility-MoEVing MoU paves the way for a significant shift towards sustainable urban logistics in India.

New Delhi: Switch Mobility Ltd (Switch), a part of the Hinduja Group and a global manufacturer of electric buses and light commercial vehicles, has inked an agreement with MoEVing, India's premier electric mobility technology platform, to deliver over 2,500 Switch IeV4 eLCVs for the logistics sector.

Switch Mobility enters the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment with IeV4, engineered for zero-emission, and mid and last-mile delivery. The vehicles seamlessly resonate with MoEVing's commitment to sustainable urban logistics, Switch said in a media release.

The Switch IeV 4, a variant of the Switch IeV Series, is an intelligent electric light commercial vehicle (eLCV). Designed with a 32.2 kWh battery, it offers a spacious cargo area and delivers a 120 km range for safe, comfortable and efficient operations. Its 60 kW motor and 230 Nm torque provide strong performance. The IeV 4 also boasts of a 1700 kg payload capacity and the Switch iON system - a comprehensive telematics system that helps businesses achieve smarter and more cost-effective fleet operations. This system optimizes routes and driver behavior, prevents breakdowns through predictive maintenance, and provides real-time data and insights to streamline deliveries, Switch said in a media release.
