HMD has relaunched some of the popular Nokia features phones in recent years, including the new Nokia 3210 phone. But soon, we might see the company bring the iconic Lumia design back into the market in a new avatar. New purported leaks of a Nokia phone suggest HMD will be using the Lumia design on an Android smartphone this time around.

The popular Lumia design was part of Nokia’s Windows Phone ecosystem which included devices like the Nokia Lumia 1020 and the Lumia 920 among others. Now, we could see the same design along with a Nokia badge on a smartphone running on Android, which was a dream for many of you back in the days.

The leak via tipster dubbed smashx_60 on X shared a clip of the possible Nokia phone that could be launched somewhere around July this year. The post has been taken down since then but it is possible that the tipster was forced into removing it after catching everyone’s attention through the news spreading like a wildfire in the last 48 hours.

As you can see in the image here, the Lumia-like design of the phone carries an HMD logo at the back, but we are hoping that the company decides to retain the Nokia badge for the device on the front which makes it more appealing for millions. However, it won’t be surprising to see it called an HMD phone, which is in line with the recent product strategy of the company.

HMD Lumia-Like Android Phone: What To Expect

The upcoming HMD phone with Lumia’s design is expected to be a mid-range device with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset under the hood. It could feature an AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate screen and come with Android 14 out of the box.

That’s not all, rumours say, this phone will get an 108MP primary sensor along with a 2MP shooter. It could have a 4900mAh battery that should offer at least 33W charging speed. Going by these details, expect this Lumia-like Android phone to launch for around Rs 25,000 in the market.
