iPhone 16 Pro Camera Upgrade Could Fix Your Biggest Issue While Taking Photos

iPhone 16 Pro cameras are expected to get a big upgrade this year but Apple could also fix one of the biggest issues with cameras that iPhone users have faced over the years. The iPhone Pro models offer high-quality images in all conditions but people complain about the lens flare issue which takes the gloss out of the images and gives its rivals like Samsung and Google the upper hand.

New reports claim Apple could finally get that chink fixed with the help of a anti-reflective coating on the lenses. With the help of this technology, Apple could prevent images catching halo, lens flare and other effects that tend to ruin the images that are heavy on details but lack the finesse of an image clicked with iPhones.

If Apple does manage to fix the lens flare issue, then many people will happily pay the premium that comes with the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max variants. We already have heard reports about Apple bringing a new shutter button which could give it further impetus as a photography beast.

iPhone 16 Pro Rumours: Everything We Know

The upcoming ‌iPhone 16 ‌Pro is expected to have a larger display around 6.3 inches, while the ‌iPhone 16 ‌Pro Max is anticipated to feature an even larger display of about 6.9 inches. The ‌iPhone 16‌ Pro models are also expected to have an improved 48MP Ultra Wide camera for capturing higher-resolution photos with more detail in 0.5X mode.

As per the report, the ‌iPhone 16‌ Pro Max might be the first to have a super telephoto periscope camera, offering significantly increased optical zoom. Both ‌iPhone 16‌ Pro models are anticipated to include 5x optical zoom, a feature currently exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Additionally, iOS 18 is expected to bring new Siri features powered by large language models, while on-device AI features may stay exclusive to the ‌iPhone 16‌ Pro models with the A18 Pro chipset. The large die size means the NPU integrated into the A18 Pro chipset could enhance the AI features and also support the on-device data processing that Apple is clearly focused on giving to its customers.
