Vivo launched its latest foldable phones, the X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro, in China, and they have plans to introduce the devices in India soon. Reports suggest that these foldable devices could hit the Indian market in June this year, marking Vivo's foldable debut in the country.

The OnePlus Open has become a strong contender in the foldable smartphone market, which was once dominated by Samsung's Galaxy Fold series. Interestingly, Tecno also entered the arena with its most budget-friendly option in India.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Launch Details: What We Know

Reports claim Vivo’s foldable phone is scheduled to debut in early June, and reported to be the first foldable smartphone featuring a hinge holding carbon fiber keel component. This innovative material gives the X Fold 3 Pro several advantages over traditional hinges, including portability, sustainability and strength, offering users a reliable device. TUV Rheinland testing has confirmed that the X Fold 3 Pro can bear 12 years of folding and 500,000 folds without compromising performance.

The smartphone rumoured to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and runs on Android 14, with 16GB of RAM. The smartphone has an 8.03-inch primary 2K AMOLED display and a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover display, both supporting up to 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it features up to 1TB of storage and a Vivo V3 imaging chip.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro also features a triple rear camera setup. While the main camera has 50MP for capturing selfies and video calls, it offers a 32MP shooter in the front. Additionally, the device comes with a 5,700mAh battery, supported by rapid 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Meanwhile, the device will come equipped with stereo speakers and will support wireless lossless Hi-Fi audio. This feature enhances the audio experience, providing users with a premium audio experience for enjoying music, videos and more on their devices.
