iPhone 16 launch is quite far away but that never stops the rumours mill to churn out new updates to keep people excited. The iPhone 16 model is probably the least popular from the series of four models but this year the company could give us a new twist to the design. Every year we see Apple bring some of the Pro-features to the vanilla models.

With the iPhone 15 launch, we got the Dynamic island on the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus. This time around we could see the action button trickle down to the iPhone 16 variant.

iPhone 16 Leaked Dummy Units: What It Says

The leaked dummy units of the iPhone 16 hints at a new rear camera layout. We might still see the cameras placed vertically but the module is also being trimmed to fit the sensors. Before this, we have seen the iPhone or 15 models carry the cameras diagonally within the module.

The other big change expected with the iPhone 16 is the inclusion of the action button that was introduced with the iPhone 15 Pro models. The action button is customisable and acts as a shortcut for any of the apps like camera, ChatGPT and more. iPhone 16 launch is also tipped to see new colour models which has been suggested in reports this month.

However, the bigger changes expected with the iPhone 16 Pro models could be the rumoured shutter button for the camera which makes sense and a whole new set of cameras at the back that can take advantage of the supposed AI features that iOS 18 will offer later this year. It is important that Apple continues with the focus on differentiating the vanilla and Pro models which gives people the reason to spend big on the Pros.
