Cannes 2024 Red Carpet: Eva Longoria Adds Stardust In A Crystal And Pearl Gown

Eva Longoria made a grand entrance at the 77th Film Festival. She graced the red carpet in a gown so dazzling that it practically lit up the night, leaving everyone else in awe. The versatile actress, director and producer attended the premiere of Kinds Of Kindness, featuring Emma Stone and Joe Alwyn, in a breathtaking Elie Saab’s backless gown.

The stunning shimmer gown comes from Elie Saab’s Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024 collection. It features intricate iridescent crystal and pearl beading, each bead meticulously arranged to create a crisscross-draping effect in the centre. It also boasted a daring plunging V-neckline, elegantly supported by a set of halter-cut straps and a small rose gold ombre train that gracefully trailed behind her. With its fitted silhouette and backless design, the gown perfectly accentuated her curves while exuding glamour. Credit for her entire look goes to Wardrobe Stylist Maeve Reilly.

For accessories, Eva opted for a chunky diamond choker adorned with pink gemstones, which perfectly complemented the hues of her gown. Matching Ghirlanda Atelier earrings and Giardini Segreti Ring further from the brand Pasquale Bruni elevated the look. To round off her outfit, the star opted for a pair of Santoni’s laminated silver, double buckle platform sandals.

Her makeup was kept modern and chic, with bold lashes enhancing her eyes, a natural lip shade, and a hint of silver eyeshadow to accentuate the bright hue of her gown. Meanwhile, her long dark tresses were styled in a loose wave pattern, swept off her shoulders with a sharp middle parting.

Elie Saab’s Spring 2024 couture collection features a variety of looks of similar taste in colour palettes and figure-hugging silhouettes. His collection also boasts several pieces adorned with intricate beaded textiles, cleverly utilised to create faux-lace, impression-piping and fringe appliques.

This isn’t the first time that the actress has turned heads on the Cannes red carpet. Last year, she once again impressed fashion enthusiasts with her stunning choice of attire, opting for a sheer gown from the same designer’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection. The gown was crafted from a combination of nude illusion tulle and interlocking lattice that was a masterpiece of intricate detailing. It was also embellished with micro crystals and gold silk thread that exuded elegance. The sleeveless design of the gown enhanced her figure, while the delicate train adorned with embroidery added a touch of romance to her overall appearance. She completed the look with stunning jewellery from Chopard.
