Method dressing is surely the latest trend that has caught the eye of many celebrities and stylists. This fashion trend involves mixing elements from the film or show’s theme into the outfit worn by stars at promotional events. It gives a distinct and unified promotion style and surely makes it noteworthy. Janhvi Kapoor seems to be acing the trend for the promotion of her upcoming film Mr and Mrs Mahi. She and her stylists have been experimenting with the concept of method dressing incorporating cricket-related elements, which is the basic premise of the film. Here are some of her best looks.

Most recently, she was seen in an ivory net saree. The saree contained floral embroidery in a variety of colours, including pink, blue, yellow, green, purple, lavender, red, and orange. The delicate Chikankari design added refinement to the drape. The actress wore it with a matching sleeveless top adorned with floral threadwork and a plunging neckline. While it may look like any other glam saree look, the highlight of the ensemble was the embellished cricket ball-shaped chain bag.

For another look, Janhvi went for a white button-down shirt and a green satin short skirt. The blouse has a notch lapel neck, quarter-length sleeves, folded cuffs, and front button closures, whereas the skirt had the elements from the film. It had a bodycon with a square cut-out mesh overlay that resembled a cricket field net. She accessorised the look with green stilettos, ear studs, rings, chain-link bracelets, and a stacked gold necklace.

Next, Janhvi Kapoor wore a silver slip dress to another promotional event for Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. Falguni Shane Peacock designed this custom made ensemble , which has sequin embellishments all over. The picture of a cricketer hitting the ball with their bat in blue sequins creates a winning effect on the otherwise simple dress. The outfit also featured broad straps, metal buckles on the shoulders, a plunging neckline, a tight waist, and a bodycon style.

One of her initial promotional looks that caught everyone’s attention was the red cut out dress. The actress stepped up her fashion game by wearing a red outfit inspired by a cricket red ball. The outfit had white stitching that resembled the stitch markings on a cricket ball, adding a sporty element to her outfit. Small leather balls were attached to the back of the dress to complete the cricket-inspired design.
