Met Gala 2024: Ariana Grande Is A Disney Princess In Custom Corset Strapless Gown

The Met Gala 2024 is here! So are the fabulous red carpet looks. Among the many stars who graced the annual event was Ariana Grande, looking straight out of a dream. Making heads turn in a flower-adorned dress worthy of this year’s dress code “The Garden of Time”, Ariana was a total stunner.

The singer looked every bit divine in a custom Loewe corset strapless gown from the shelves of Jonathan Anderson for the mega event. Featuring a shimmery mother-of-pearl constructed corset bodice, the mesmerising gown was further accentuated by a flowing white skirt. Enhancing the appeal of the skirt was the meticulously crafted floral eye decorations. Her perfectly fitted bodice also highlighted her tiny waist as she walked through the carpet. The ethereal look perfectly aligns with the enchanting appearance of Ariana.

To top off her look, Grande experimented a little and opted for neutral makeup. Ariana’s dainty butterflies adorning the sides of her eyes showcase her unique style and she tied her blonde hair in her signature ponytail. Not to forget her diamond ear accessories which only elevated the most captivating look of the evening.

Grande’s Met Gala comeback marks one of her most highlighted appearances since her new album Eternal Sunshine released earlier this spring. Previously, she made a few press outings, some of which were alongside her Wicked costar Cynthia Erivo. Grande was also seen in the first instalment of Wicked. It was adapted by the Wizard of Oz–inspired Broadway musical in which Grande plays Glinda. She is joined by Erivo who plays Elphaba, the future Wicked Witch of the West.

Meanwhile, the dress code for Met Gala 2024, The Garden of Time, draws inspiration from J.G. Ballard’s 1962 short story. This year’s dress code will allow attendees to interpret the theme as per their fashion choices. However, the ensemble should explore the interlink between time and natural beauty.
