HCL Tech Announces Rs 18 Interim Dividend for FY24, Fixes Record Date, Payment Date

HCL Technologies, a major IT company, on Friday declared an interim dividend of Rs 18 per equity share for the financial year 2023-24. The record date for determining the eligibility of members entitled to receive the dividend on equity shares is May 7, 2023.

“The board of directors has declared an interim dividend of Rs 18 per equity share of Rs 2 each of the Company for the Financial Year 2024-25. The Record date of May 7, 2024 fixed for the payment of the aforesaid interim dividend has been confirmed by the Board of Directors,” HCL said in a regulatory filing.

The payment date of the interim dividend has been fixed as May 15, 2024, according to the filing.

IT major HCL Technologies on Friday reported a net profit of Rs 3,986 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2024, which is the same as Rs 3,983 crore a year. Its revenue during January-March 2024 stood at Rs 28,499 crore, which is 7.11 per cent higher than the Rs 26,606 crore reported in the year-ago period.

On a quarterly basis, HCL’s net profit declined 8.36 per cent as compared with Rs 4,350 in the December 2023 quarter. Its revenue was flat in Q4 FY24 as compared with the Rs 28,446 reported in Q3 FY24.
