Citroen India launches new Aircross SUV starting at INR 8.49 lakh with advanced comfort, safety and technology

Citroen India has launched the updated version of its popular SUV, Aircross at INR 8.49 lakh for a limited period. Bookings open today for deliveries starting from 8th Oct, 2024. The New Aircross includes advanced comfort, safety, and cutting-edge technology, aiming to appeal to customers seeking style and utility. The new model emphasises spacious design, sophisticated safety measures, and renowned comfort technology, making it a distinctive choice in the market.

Shishir Mishra, Brand Head of Citroen India, expressed the company's vision for the new model. "The Aircross SUV has been loved for its ride quality and comfort by customers since its launch. We wanted to build on that success by establishing its unique identity and hence we are excited to launch the new Aircross. The updated Aircross perfectly embodies our philosophy of offering advanced comfort, safety, and technology in a dynamic and practical package."
Advanced features and tech

The new Aircross comes with several key improvements to enhance safety, comfort, and overall driving experience. The SUV now features six airbags and ISOFIX child seat anchors for enhanced safety. LED projector headlamps improve visibility, while automatic air conditioning with climate control adds to the comfort. Power window switches are relocated to the doors, grab handles are added on the passenger side, and power-folding ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) are introduced. A rear AC vent and a soft-touch instrument panel further refine the interior ambiance, making it more premium.
Engine options for the New Aircross include the advanced 1.2 L Gen 3 PURETECH 110 turbo and the new PURETECH 82 Naturally Aspirated engines, delivering up to 110ps and 205Nm of torque. Customers can opt for 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, or 6-speed AT configurations, ensuring versatile and dynamic driving experiences. The SUV is equipped with over 40 advanced safety features such as the electronic stability program, tyre pressure monitoring system, and hill-hold assist, providing a smooth and confident driving experience on various terrains. The vehicle will be available in 5 and 5+2 seating options to offer more flexibility to consumers.

MyCitroen Connect app

The Aircross retains its existing strengths, including the highest boot space in its segment at 511 litres when the third row is removed, and Citroen’s signature advanced suspension system for superior ride comfort. Additional highlights of the New Aircross include a 10.25-inch infotainment system, the MyCitroen Connect app with 40 connectivity features, and extensive customisation options with over 70 accessories. Intelligent storage solutions and a 360 mm compact steering wheel continue to set the Aircross apart in the market.

Overall, the New Aircross reflects a combination of practicality and sophistication, building on its heritage while introducing new features to meet modern demands.
