Lexus India launched the ES Luxury Plus edition.
Lexus India has launched the ES Luxury Plus edition to mark the festive season. Priced at INR 69,70,000 Ex-Showroom, this model will be available from September at all Lexus Guest Experience Centers. This new edition features enhanced accessories that improve its aesthetic appeal and functionality, underscoring Lexus' commitment to superior quality and luxury. The ES 300h, part of the 'Make in India' initiative, has been significant for Lexus, contributing to 55% of the brand’s sales in India for the first half of 2024.

Design

The Lexus ES 300h is known for its elegant design, quiet operation, and advanced hybrid electric powertrain. Manufactured locally, it plays a crucial role in Lexus India's portfolio. The new ES Luxury Plus Edition aims to elevate this experience with several features designed to enhance its luxury and functionality.

Features

Among the new features is a silver grille, enhancing the vehicle's front appearance for a fresh, distinctive look. The rear lamp chrome garnish contributes to a refined and premium aesthetic. An illuminated scuff plate with an LED-lit Lexus logo adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the interior. Additionally, the FR courtesy logo lamp projects the Lexus logo on the ground when the door is opened, creating a sense of exclusivity and attention to detail. A rear-seat pillow is also included to reduce fatigue and enhance comfort during long journeys.

Speaking about the ES Luxury Plus Edition, Tanmay Bhattacharya, Executive Vice President of Lexus India, said: “With the introduction of the Lexus ES Luxury Plus Edition, we are delighted to elevate the luxury quotient, and sophistication for the upcoming festive season. This exclusive edition, adorned with new accessories, is crafted to enhance every journey, blending unparalleled style, comfort, and innovation. We are excited to offer this exceptional experience to our esteemed customers, ensuring that their drive transforms into a celebration of Lexus quality and craftsmanship in India.”

Embedding Japanese philosophy - Omotenashi

The introduction of the ES Luxury Plus Edition aligns with Lexus' adherence to the Japanese philosophy of Omotenashi, which emphasises deep respect and guest care. This philosophy has been a guiding principle since Lexus entered the Indian market in 2017.

Lexus India has also announced an 8-year/160,000 km vehicle warranty for all new models sold from June 1, 2024, a first in the luxury car industry. Additionally, a 5-year Roadside Assistance (RSA) program, introduced on February 1, 2024, aims to provide greater guest convenience and peace of mind. In August 2024, Lexus began offering high-quality factory body coating, enhancing the premium feel and acceptance of its vehicles in the luxury automotive market.

The installation of these enhancements will be carried out at Lexus Guest Experience Centers to ensure precision and quality. This initiative underscores Lexus' dedication to providing an exceptional ownership experience, characterised by meticulous craftsmanship and advanced features.
