Supratik Roy has joined Marelli UM Electronics Systems as Chief Operations Officer and Senior Director, effective September 2, 2024. The global leader in automotive electronics aims to advance vehicle performance and safety through innovative solutions in electronics, software, lighting, and sustainable products for electric and hybrid vehicles.

Experience

Supratik Roy brings extensive experience to Marelli, having had a distinguished career in the automotive electronics industry. His notable understanding of the electronics value chain, combined with a successful history of driving business growth, positions him as a valuable asset to Marelli's leadership team in India.

Roy's 14-year tenure at Lumax highlights his significant contributions, where he played a key role in establishing and expanding the Electronics division, ultimately achieving a remarkable revenue milestone of over INR 500 Crores. His deep knowledge of the semiconductor industry further enhances his comprehensive grasp of the electronics ecosystem and business processes.

Education

"Supratik Roy is an alumnus of IIT Bombay, IIM Lucknow, and the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, USA. Supratik is well-equipped to contribute to Marelli's vision of pioneering advancements in automotive electronics technology," a spokesperson from Marelli mentioned.
