TVS SCS wins multi-year contract from JCB for in-plant logistics in Vadodara

TVS SCS’s in-plant logistics services for JCB’s Vadodara plant will encompass comprehensive warehouse management, including unloading, put-away of parts, picking, and line-side feeding.
TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited (TVS SCS) has secured a business contract from JCB in India to manage in-plant warehousing and logistics operations at JCB's facility in Vadodara, Gujarat for three years. This partnership builds on a relationship spanning over two decades, wherein TVS SCS has been providing aftermarket warehouse services in Bhaproda, Haryana for JCB’s parts distribution.

TVS SCS’s in-plant logistics services for JCB’s Vadodara plant will encompass comprehensive warehouse management, including unloading, put-away of parts, picking, and line-side feeding. The company will utilize Material Handling Equipment (MHEs) and employ close to 110 personnel for this contract. The Vadodara plant of JCB manufactures fabrications and components for its plants globally.
