Bajaj Chetak To Get An Affordable Variant In May, Check Details

Bajaj Auto is soon to release the latest entry-level trim in its Chetak electric scooter lineup. It has been reported that the launch date has been set somewhere in May. However, an exact is yet to be revealed by the company.

The vehicle will be positioned a step below between Urbane and Premium variants. It will share the same style statement as the current lineup, featuring an aggressive design, single seating arrangement, LED headlight setup, LED taillamps, and rear seat handle, among others.

Statement By Top Official

As per the details shared by the Teambhp, the Executive Director of Bajaj Auto, Rakesh Sharma has already shown the green signal to the prodouct. He said, “The product upgrade in the fourth quarter was very well accepted. We will be launching a new product by May.”

In addition, he said the upcoming product will appeal to the mass audience as it will hit the market with an affordable price range. The company has kept most of the spec and price-related details under wrap as yet. It is expected that the brand might share some concrete information about the same in the upcoming days.

Latest Product

Meanwhile, Bajaj has updated its fleet this year by launching the 2024 Chetak. The model received a robust 3.2 kWh battery pack, allowing the customers to enjoy a decent range of 127 km on a single charge.
