TVS Supply Chain Solutions and Daimler Truck South East Asia form strategic partnership for supply chain enhancement

TVS Supply Chain Solutions has entered into a strategic agreement with Daimler Truck South East Asia, focusing on refining supply chain operations in the region.

Daimler Truck South East Asia Pte Ltd, part of the German-based Daimler Truck AG, has inked a new five-year contract with TVS Supply Chain Solutions. This partnership aims to deliver integrated supply chain solutions in Singapore, according to a statement from TVS Supply Chain Solutions.

The agreement will enhance supply chain management for Daimler Truck South East Asia’s distributor network, dealers, and workshops across 16 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. This will be facilitated from TVS's strategic logistics hub located in Singapore.

The collaboration is set to focus on developing a solid logistics framework for distributing spare parts and related items. It aims to streamline supply chain processes and ensure efficient transportation across various modes, including air and road transport.

Favati further commented, "The long-standing relationship between Daimler and TVS SCS is a testament to both companies sharing a commitment to operational excellence and innovation."

Christoph Stemmer, Vice President Customer Services and Parts, Mercedes-Benz Bus and Special Truck Sales SEA, highlighted the reasons behind selecting TVS SCS as their logistics partner. He said, "TVS SCS has been chosen as our logistics partner due to their unique service offer and their performance as a dedicated and passionate warehouse and logistics provider."

Stemmer added, "We are looking forward to a successful collaboration."
