Suzuki Motorcycle India Archives Impressive Sales Figures in May, Sold 1,11,512

The leading two-wheeler maker Suzuki motorcycles has been witnessing an overwhelming response in India for the past few months. To give an overall idea about its performance in the market, the company has released its sales figures for the month of May 2024.

As per the details, the brand has successfully sold over 1,11,512, beating the same month’s sales last year. The company reported an increase in domestic sales by 37 percent, retailing 92,032 units last month. The number has increased as compared to the same month last year, when the company managed to sell 67,040 units.

Export Bussiness

When it comes to the exports, the graph went down. It exported 19,480 units in May 2024, while the number was 24,276 units in May 2023.

Commenting about the sales figures, the company’s Managing Director in India, Kenichi Umeda said, “Achieving the record-breaking monthly sales of 1,11,512 units is a significant milestone for us. This impressive performance highlights SMIPL’s growing market presence in the country. We deeply appreciate the love and trust of our customers for the brand Suzuki.”

In addition, he said, “This achievement is also a result of the commitment of our dealer network, business associates, and team members. We are very thankful to the entire Suzuki Family and will provide the best services and hospitality to all the Customers.”

Current Product Line

Meanwhile, Suzuki offers a wide range of products in the Indian market. The model starts at Rs 79,900 and goes up to Rs. 17.70 Lakh for tech-loaded Hayabusa.

The fleet consists of a total of eleven motorcycles, and the Gixxer SF 150 is considered one of the top-selling products in the range. The company also gearing up to enhance its product line and aims to introduce the latest electric-powered vehicles.
